We had the pleasure and honor to have about 32 new volunteers and members attend this gathering, accompanied by the flags of the United Nations.

It was a wonderful setting of young people, members of the Board, music, food and nature.

Everyone chose their volunteer assignments and their tasks for October 23rd, our next great event, UN DAY 66th Anniversary celebration. We will celebrate with great speakers, African drums and dance, a welcoming for the new country of South Sudan, and more.

Members of the Board of Directors addressed the volunteers and welcomed them as well as invited them to use their talents to make the world a little better, support the mission of UNA-USA SF, and learn and talk about the UN and its programs which help the planet and give hope of unity to all in so many ways.

Our UNA-USA SF picnic was visited by tourists and other visitors that admired the impressive display of colorful flags and energy from our volunteers and members.
