What is Advocacy?

In a world that is being transformed by globalization and cooperation with other nations, an active and constructive leadership role by the United States in the international community is critical. The United Nations Association of San Francisco is committed to building a constituency for the United Nations which is critical to the success of the U.S.-UN relationship.

The UNA of San Francisco's approach to advocacy is one of relationship building and communication. This is done through a combination of coalition building, community outreach and media and legislative actions.
