Welcome to the United Nations Association
San Francisco Chapter

If by any chance you happen to hit our website, this might be one of your lucky days. UNA is an organizations that advocates for Women’s Rights, Human Rights, Climate Change, Refugee Rights, the environment, Peace Building and Peace Keeping, World Health, Disarmament, International Development, Young Professionals, Happy Hours and much more.

Just now we are all involved in a Peace Campaign to convince the US Government and others not to use military force against Syria and to respect the UN agreements reached years ago and to respect International Law.

If you are interested in us and would like to get involved, please join us as we wage Peace.  You may also consider joining UNA USA San Francisco and participating in projects that you like and you have an interest in.

As a grassroots non-profit, UNA-SF seeks members and volunteers looking to make a difference locally and globally. In order to join the San Francisco, and the wider UNA-USA family, click here and select our chapter. San Francisco is the birthplace of the United Nations and chapter membership is open to anyone regardless of location; simply select our chapter when registering. Members receive many benefits including special invitations to local and national events, exclusive UNA-USA and UN Foundation materials, and the opportunity to be active in UNA-USA and UNA-USA networks and committees.

All new members are personally contacted from our Membership Committee and invited to our monthly UNA-SF Social Hours and New Member Orientation. When joining the UNA-SF, you are not only joining an organization; you are joining a tight knit network of like-minded, diverse, and socially minded global citizens. The chapter hosts regular events that give UNA members and the Bay Area an opportunity to learn more about their world and network with local advocates and professionals.

If you would like to volunteer for the UNA-SF then please fill out the volunteer application:  Click here to take survey. The survey results are checked every Sunday – you will be contacted.
