Project Focus

The Education project aims to teach young people and be a resource for teachers in high schools within the San Francisco Unified School District about the establishment and the work of the United Nations.

Unfortunately the Chair of this program, Effie Robinson, passed away unexpectedly earlier this year. We are now in the process of redesigning this program.

 

Recognition The UNA-SF recognizes the following individuals for their achievements in furthering efforts in UN education.   Ms. Priscilla LaLone - for her efforts in advocating changes to the California Board of Educationís Tenth Grade Social Science Standard. Dr. Thais da Rosa, Faculty Advisor ñ for demonstrated energy and dedication to students through the UN Club at Lowell High School in San Francisco.
