Fashion model and disability rights advocate Jillian Mercado met with the UN Secretary-General to discuss what the UN is doing to ensure the rights of persons with disabilities and reduce inequalities - #COSP11, UNHQ 12-14 June. The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities was adopted by the General Assembly by its resolution 61/106 of 13 December 2006.
