UNA-SF Young Professionals support the mission of UNA-USA within the San Francisco Bay area and are committed to providing information and opportunities for young professionals with an interestin the United Nations working within the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

UNA-SF offers young professionals an opportunity to do hands-on work with likeminded individuals in support of the UN. It also offers the opportunity to acquire and develop tangible skills, knowledge and experience by taking on a leadership role in our chapter. Many members of UNA-USA currently hold or have held careers at the UN, UN agencies, the US State Department, and other governmental and non-governmental organizations. UNA Young Professionals also have opportunities to meet likeminded individuals at UNA-USA national and local events such as Members' Day at the UN or the UNA-USA Annual Meeting.

This August 25, 2018, UNA-SF held a special conference to commemorate World Humanitarian Day. As part of the outcome of the conference, we offer a special collecive narrative entitled Helping Young Professionals Align Their Careers With The UN Sustainable Development Goals.
