Youth Committee

Purpose Statement

Our mission is to empower youth in the San Francisco Bay Area by amplifying their voices, and challenging systemic barriers through advocacy and education. We will work through UNA-SF programs to connect local communities to global priorities. Our priorities include supporting equal access to education and advocating for policies against child exploitation, including those in the UNTOC protocol on trafficking persons especially women and children, and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child Articles 28 and 29. We are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where youth can lead and shape society.
